libedac-dev software package provides report kernel-detected PCI and ECC RAM errors, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libedac-dev
libedac-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libedac-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libedac-dev *
You will get with libedac-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
